AVEDIS has been requested by the GTZ Sector Project “Children and Youth Rights” to develop two concept papers on the issue of capacity development in the youth sector.

The purpose of the papers is to systematise the work of GTZ in the youth sector vis-à-vis the current programmatic thinking, in order to enhance the role of youth promotion in German development cooperation. The papers will illustrate how approaches to organisational development and network management, as well as the training of professionals in the social sector can contribute to improving youth promotion at national, regional and local levels.
