Recent reforms of the European Union’s institutions could strengthen the bloc’s leadership on development cooperation at the international level and increase its positive impact in partner countries, but more progress is needed according to the OECD. In a peer review of the EU published this week, it calls on the EU to clarify and adjust the internal responsibilities for development cooperation to ensure synergies.
